Balai Adlao El Nido

We stayed in Balai Adlao for three nights in April 2026 and our experience was really nice. The hotel is clean and cozy, the rooms are pretty spacious for two. There was a construction work nearby but it wasn’t a problem ‘cause when it was starting we were already up and leaving for the beach which is just a few steps away. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Nothing compares to the Filipino hospitality♥️ The only thing we could “complain” about was the breakfast, we wish there’d be more variety but anyways it wasn’t a big deal. But what really did our stay there were the complimentary boat tours we took with the hotel’s team. They took us to see the sunset and also to snorkel and it was amazing. Special thanks to our wonderful diving instructor Ramie who treated us exceptionally. Highly recommended ♥️♥️♥️

We had a fantastic experience at Balai Adlao. The hotel offers excellent value for money: the rooms are spacious, very clean, well-maintained, and have comfortable beds, making for a very pleasant stay. The location on Lio Beach is another strong point, as the beach is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. But without a doubt, the highlight was the experience with Adlao Marine. The sunset cruise is spectacular and highly recommended, but what really surprised us was the complimentary snorkeling activity in the morning. It was absolutely amazing. We want to give a special mention to Ramie, the Dive Master, who was an incredible guide. He showed us and explained all kinds of marine life and was attentive to us at all times. His manner was friendly, professional, and charming, making the experience unforgettable. Without a doubt, a highly recommended hotel and an experience we would repeat.

We stayed here in March 2026 on a trip booked through the agency, after they changed the hotel without prior notice. We received information the day before our stay that there would be construction work at the hotel, lasting from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Before 8:00 AM, there was already noise that prevented us from sleeping. The pool doesn't exist - it's under construction. There were ants at breakfast and in the room. The breakfast wasn't particularly good, there was little choice (considering the hotel's rating and price). The only positive thing to highlight is the friendliness of the staff. The price is completely inflated, the quality of the hotel in no way justifies the price. It was undoubtedly the worst during our entire long honeymoon stay in the Philippines.

The resort has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, making the stay very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the pool area and the calm surroundings, which made it easy to unwind. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The food was also delicious and well prepared. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a memorable vacation in El Nido.

Room was spacious and they accommodated the setup I requested. Staff were nice and accommodating, and overall it was a pleasant stay. However, there were a few issues during our visit: two power interruptions, no emergency lights, and the flashlight in the room wasn’t working. One of the lampshades also seemed to have a short circuit, possibly due to the power interruptions. The breakfast buffet also had limited selections.

There are some places you visit that stay with you — places that somehow make their way into your heart. Balao Adlao is one of those places. From the moment you arrive, you feel that this hotel is something special. The location is beautiful, but what truly makes the experience unforgettable is the people. The staff are some of the warmest, kindest, happiest people I’ve encountered in my travels. Their energy is genuine and contagious — always smiling, always helpful, and always making you feel welcome. There’s a special energy of love here. You truly feel like you are part of a happy family while you’re staying. It’s rare to find a place where the atmosphere feels this sincere and joyful. I also loved the complimentary activities they offer, including snorkeling, kayaking, a morning tour, and a beautiful sunset tour in the evening, which make it easy to experience the natural beauty of El Nido. The hotel is right on Lio Beach, which is one of the best beaches on the island. The area is fantastic — there are great cafés and restaurants, and wellness options like spas, yoga, and Pilates, so there’s always something to enjoy while still keeping that relaxed island atmosphere. Honestly, I never wanted to leave. This is the kind of place that stays with you long after you go home.

We stayed here for 4d3n last January 18-21, 2026. I think this hotel has so much more to offer. Part of the hotel was under construction that time, however, we still enjoyed our stay. The beach, restaurants and the airport are just nearby. And oh! The free breakfast was excellent! Different food selection everyday. I was only disappointed when no one came to pick us up at the airport when I clearly communicated our eta beforehand. Had to message them on ig to let them know that we’re waiting. The hotel staff were tremendous. My bf had food poisoning and needed medical treatment at 4 in the morning. They managed to get us a tricycle to the nearest clinic. So grateful for their help.

We spent four nights at this hotel and the room was decent but it seemed they overlooked our primary concern: a good night’s sleep. The power went out about five times a night. This was particularly disruptive because the backup generator would turn on and the lights would come on. It was a nightmare. The breakfast was included, average quality and always the same.

My husband and I stayed here from December 16–19, 2025, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located, with many restaurants and mini shops just a short walk away. The beach is also within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel offers great amenities, including a complimentary sunset cruise and airport transportation, with the airport only about five minutes away. The staff truly stood out—they were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and provided outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and pleasant, though they could benefit from some minor upgrades and a bit more attention to detail. As with most tropical destinations, mosquitoes are part of nature, so it’s best to come prepared with insect repellent. There is also a restaurant right next door that serves delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which was very convenient. Overall, this place will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was part of our first unforgettable trip to Palawan.
