Balai Adlao El Nido
Visitors frequently praise the helpful and accommodating staff, the great location near Lio Beach with easy access to food and tours, and the good value for money. However, a common complaint is that the air conditioning is not very cold, and some guests have noted issues with room maintenance like mold or insects, and inconsistent power.

Enjoyed our stay so much, and we would definitely love to come back! The AC wasn’t very cold, but it was manageable since the room had a ceiling fan. That was really my only concern, and it didn’t affect our overall trip experience. What we loved most was how helpful and accommodating the staff were. They assisted us with arranging tours, room service, motorbike rentals, organizing a complimentary sunset cruise, and even preparing a complimentary birthday cake. Whatever request we had, they were always responsive and eager to help. The location was excellent, and the beachfront was absolutely beautiful. It’s also very close to the airport. Only around 5 minutes away! We also really enjoyed the fish and chips from Wantusawa. Some areas for improvement would be the comfort of the bed and bedsheets, as well as the cooling power of the AC. Overall, though, we were very satisfied with our stay and would love to come back to explore more tours and activities!
Fantastic experience, the staff had every concern, question or information we needed during the trip. Didn't spend much time in our room of course but when we needed a motorbike, staff knew, wanted a sunset boat tour? Done. Needed beach towels randomly? Provided. Breakfast was great and the location is perfect. Minus the aircon being a beat weak and the pool not being available it was a great experience and we got dropped off in a cool land cruiser.
We had a comfortable and restful stay in Balai Adlao for 3D2N. Our primary itinerary was to kayak and island hopping so we looked for a simple place to stay with breakfast. We decided to billet ourselves away from the energetic El Nido Town so we decided to stay in Lio Beach. Balai Adlao's room and restaurant were clean, quaint, and cozy. It does its job in providing comfort and rest, nothing more. The staff were accommodating and very elaborate on how to navigate Lio and El Nido town. The receptionists were proactive in arranging our transportation (there's a free hourly shuttle to and from Lio-El Nido Town, and a joiner shuttle with a fee to Nacpan Beach) and made sure we were guided properly. Balai Adlao also has free excursions - snorkeling (9AM-12NN) and sunset cruise (4-6PM). After island hopping, we returned to our room and decided to catch the sunset cruise. Lo and behold, we were the only passengers in the big outrigger boat. Solo naming dalawa. Captain Rami/Rammy, the head of Balai Adlao Marine, was very accommodating, lively, friendly, and knowledgeable about the marine life near the coast. He made sure we enjoyed the solo sunset cruise. Stay in Balai Adlao if you want quiet and clean accommodations. Make time for the free sunset cruise as well.
Booked through Agoda so it was cheaper than published rate. Rooms were okay. Location was great, near the beach, lots of food options especially if you don't wanna stray too far. They also offer free morning snorkeling and sunset cruise which was super nice.
The hotel and restaurant looked nice from the outside. However, one of the two rooms had some mold and a few insects on the bed. There were no simple white curtains underneath the double curtains, so people could see us from the terrace across the street. There was also no hairdryer. It's a shame, because overall it's quite nice and fairly close to the beach and some good restaurants. A bit disappointed.
