Heartfelt thanks to all Seda Lio team for our second time experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary there. All staffing contributions and attention were so meaningful to us. Seda Lio is definitely like a priceless nest to us for enjoying relaxing holidays being fully disconnected and offering stunning sightseeing moments. See you next year ! Maria & Carlito
We had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel, and it holds a special place in our hearts as it was the venue for our wedding ceremony. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally accommodating, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. The facilities were well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, providing both comfort and convenience. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable—making it easy for us to relax and enjoy our time together. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable experience. We would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a beautiful place to stay or celebrate special occasions. My husband and I promised to come back to this hotel every year because it will always be special to us. -Maria&Carlito-
Thank you Marc and the team for a very enjoyable 4 days stay. Excellent staff service and wide range of quality food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Love the pool and massage. Highly recommend and will return when we are next in Philippines Robin and Maria
This is most certainly not a 5 star hotel. More like a lower end 4 star at the best. The hotel itself is great and Lio beach is beautiful. After roaming around El Nido I’m glad we opted to not stay downtown there. The staff were friendly but the service was just so-so. There were little strange things throughout the trip, ranging from small to big. For example there were a couple of occasions that we had to remind the front desk a second time for a request that we had made. The Wi-Fi doesn’t really work, except for some hotspots. I don’t see how a 5 star hotel doesn’t have working WiFi. Our room didn’t have a smart TV (even though I noticed on Chromecast that nearby rooms were smart TVs). Nonetheless, Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room anyway. I’d find myself wandering around the hotel resort until I had just enough data to download a movie to my iPad for night time, then go back to my room. Worst part by far is the food and drink. Drinks were all watered down, my old fashioned was waaay more translucent than it should have been. For food, I’m someone that enjoys his fair share of salt, but man, I couldn’t even put down half of the dishes since they were so salty. Classic resort tactic to make a bland dish seem more flavorful, and to make people feel more full at a buffet. Again, cheap tactic for a “5-star”. The meat and fish quality was a little gross at times too. I recommend eating at the nearby restaurants that you can walk to. We tried a few that were all good! For some redeeming qualities, the beach itself is great & quiet. The pool area is really nice and the live music was surprisingly amazing. Just know what you’re getting into… not a 5-star
We had a fantastic stay at Seda Lio in El Nido. We arrived very late because the airport was under red alert due to heavy thunderstorms, but the staff still welcomed us warmly. I had accidentally booked the wrong room, yet they kindly upgraded us to a beautiful room with an amazing garden and sea view. Even though the kitchen was already closed, they still prepared hot instant noodles for us, which after a long travel day felt incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. The breakfast service was excellent every single day. The girls at breakfast were always friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. In fact, all staff members we encountered throughout the resort greeted us with a smile and were always happy to help. The beach was wonderful and because it was low season, it was very peaceful and quiet, which we absolutely loved. One of the nicest surprises was the walk along the beach through the beautifully lit forest path to Lio Beach, where you can find several great restaurants. We honestly did not expect to enjoy it this much, but Seda Lio completely surprised us in the best possible way. We would love to come back again someday.
