Perth PrideFEST 2026
About This Event
Perth’s PrideFEST, held every November, isn’t just a party; it’s a multi-week festival of queer culture in Western Australia. Arts, sports, community events, nightlife – it all happens across Perth and the surrounding areas. Pride WA puts it on, and it’s become one of Australia’s biggest Pride events, pulling in people from all over Western Australia, plus visitors from the east coast and overseas who tack it onto a trip to Perth’s beaches and vineyards.
The whole thing ends with the Pride Parade. Thirty thousand people, give or take, line Perth’s inner-city streets to watch it. The parade winds through the CBD, then into Northbridge, which is Perth’s main gayborhood. Kings Park, a huge bush reserve on a bluff overlooking the city, the Swan River, and the Indian Ocean, hosts the festival’s big outdoor events. The views there are pretty dramatic.
PrideFEST 2026 keeps up the tradition of programming that goes beyond just club nights. You’ll find film, theater, visual arts, sports, and community gatherings. It’s a reflection of Perth’s queer community itself: people who’ve built their own culture, with confidence and creativity, in the world’s most isolated big city. They’re genuinely proud of what they’ve made here.
