About this place The Court

The Court is Perth's biggest and most beloved LGBTQ+ venue, occupying a rambling heritage hotel on the corner of Beaufort and James Streets in Northbridge. Behind the pub frontage sprawls a warren of bars, a large courtyard beer garden and a nightclub, and the crowd swells from relaxed after-work drinks midweek to a full-blown party on weekends. Drag is central to the programming — regular shows, karaoke, bingo and student nights fill the calendar — and it hosts many of the city's Pride-season events. Open and welcoming to everyone, The Court has been a cornerstone of gay Perth for decades and works equally well as a first drink or a last dance.
