Frisk Small Bar

Situated just up the road from the Old Tower House, this is great to pop in before or after a service, so if you go during the day expect a bridal party. The wine list is minimal. The staff are lovely and the decor has a student vibe. It really wasn’t that enticing to want to come back to see what it is like in the evening.

Normally love this bar but came here for an after dinner drink at 9:30pm following a birthday meal with my partner. Met at the door by an officious looking bouncer who announced “we are kind of at capacity. There will be a 20-30min wait”. Only 1 of the 4 outside tables had anyone sitting at it so really struggling to see how they were at capacity and inside didn’t look nearly as busy as I have seen it previously. If our faces didn’t fit this time I’m afraid to say we won’t be back despite all the previous good experiences

Great little spot for a digestive and after dinner chat. If Gin is your thing. Then this is your place

We walked past this bar on a sunday afternoon and stopped in for a drink, not being gin drinkers we ordered all different cocktails from the board menu and were all plesently surprised by how tasty they all were. We watched the bar tender test and try the drinks at every stage putting in so much effort and passion to make our drinks. I had the gin on pancakes, pretty sure I could bath in the stuff it was that tasty. Thanks for the amazing cocktails :)

Popped in for a quick G & T before a movie with friends. The staff were very helpful and recommended a citrus G & T which was perfect. Will be sure to visit again soon.

A lovely quirky place to go for a nice night. So many gins to choose from i recommend the apple & cinnamon for whiskey drinkers the range is very impressive.

Expected a lot more from this bar. Supposedly specialises in gin. There is a wide variety which is nice but the young barmen don't seem terribly credible. Have visited many gin bars and this is a little 'rustic' It is a little underwhelming. Also the tonic was flat. Not good

So happy to find a nice gin place to drink at in the city, that is unpretentious and so genuinely good. Bartenders are awesome at recommending mixes and paring for your gin desires. Was not a gin drinker before, but after just one visit I'm a total convert. Have been dreaming of my next visit

A friend suggested we meet here on a Friday afternoon. Nice vibe and the gin is really reasonably priced. Quiet end of Northbridge so parking was easy - could become my new local - cocktails are awesome
