Perth PrideFEST is Western Australia's premier LGBTQ+ celebration — a multi-week festival held each November that brings together arts, culture, sport, community events, and nightlife across Perth and the surrounding region. The festival culminates in the Pride Parade through Perth's inner-city streets, drawing approximately 30,000 participants and spectators. The parade route passes through the CBD and into the Northbridge entertainment precinct, giving it a natural conclusion at the city's gay heart. Kings Park — the vast native bush reserve on the escarpment overlooking the city, the Swan River, and the Indian Ocean beyond — provides the setting for the festival's major outdoor events, with a backdrop of rare and dramatic beauty.
