The Shine Hotel

The Shine is a newer four-star on Lê Hồng Phong, about 4 km from Cat Bi International Airport. Its site lists 146 rooms, an indoor pool, conference and wedding halls, the Galaxy restaurant and more than 20 private spa suites. It's popular for weddings and business events, so weekends can be busy in the lobby. The old centre is a short Grab ride west. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue, and Haiphong has no gay bars to walk to; most visitors meet locals on apps.
