HAPPY LIFE GREEN HOTEL

Pros: if you get one of the street front rooms they're decent sized suites. Very spacious. Very good value as well. Staff are responsive and helpful. Cons: avoid Suite 301 at all costs!!! Bed is hard as rock. Might as well sleep on the floor. Toilet doesn't flush very well (only use for #1s otherwise you risk an unpleasant issue). Shower doesn't drain & will quickly flood the bathroom. The breakfast is just rank and whoever said the location was good was lying. You'll need to drive to all the main spots unless you're happy to walk 30-40 mins. Also the incredibly steep steps at the entrance are not fun to drag a heavy suitcase up. I complained after a very uncomfortable night in room 301 and was moved to a better room with a bed that did not wreck my spine, a working toilet and relatively well draining shower though we had no hot water. Whilst I appreciate the staff being able to move us knowing they were full on NYE I'm not recommending this hotel. If they hadn't moved us it would be a 1* review.

AN is the best, most friendly less hostess in Vietnam. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was delusions. I would never stay at another place there because of the proximity to everything for the price. Again, AN is the best!!

We haven't slept here yet but after arriving 2 hours early. (Our fault for not checking time) The staff were very accommodating after I offered to come back later. The doorman is absolutely delightful. We are staying on the 7th floor in a panoramic suite with city view. The room is very big. Only complaint is the waterfall shower head is broken and the bathroom floor is very slippery so be careful. You can hear the street noise. It isn't very loud and we didn't find it an issue

Rooms are cleaned every day, it's bad that you can hear all the noise from the other rooms/hallway, otherwise very comfy and satisfying. Service was okay, but they immediately send you to your room if you bring food from someplace else, you cannot stay in the lobby for regroup/small talk. Location was great, if you're not a fan of walking long distances (30-40min) that's okay, I recommend to install Grab the app and the taxi prices are around 3€ but it depends on the location obviously.

I recently stayed at Happy Life Green Hotel HCMC, and unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing. When I entered, there was a strong mouldy smell and the shower head had very weak water pressure, and the water temperature was difficult to control either extremely hot or freezing cold. Unwell maintain in bedroom and all over the toilet. Breakfast was another unpleasant surprise. While there appeared to be many options, most dishes were either overly spicy or not freshly prepared. I sincerely hope this review reaches the General Manager and that these issues are taken into consideration for future improvement. Sadly, my recent stay at Happy Life Green Hotel was far below expectations and not worth the money. I would no longer recommend this hotel in HCMC.
