No one at reception to greet us. No television in the room, contrary to what was advertised. No light in the bathroom. We warned them that the light bulbs were burned out, but they weren't changed.
Very bad experience. Room with a double bed (140cm). Really small. The mattress is soft. When the person next to you moves, you move with them. The curtains aren't properly secured, so there's a lot of light in the room. There's a television, but it doesn't work! This is true for all the rooms, not just ours. There's no soundproofing whatsoever. You can hear the people above you as if they were in your room (especially when there are English people singing and shouting in the middle of the night). The same goes for the windows; you can hear people outside (though there aren't many). I absolutely do not recommend this room.
I have made an online reservation on the website https://www.hotelleopold.be, and everything seemed ok. I am redireted to my bank to confirm the reservation by my credit card, which seems to be working fine. When i am returned to the homepage i am told that something went wrong and i should try again. I went through the process one more time with the same result. After a few moments i was informed by my bank that they have registered two prepayments from Hotel Leopold. I have had NO confirmtion from the hotel, either by e-mail, on their online form or by calling the number on the page. I have found another place to be for the trip.....

A stay at Hotel Leopold is therefore a pleasant experience for anyone who appreciates comfort, elegance, and a central location in Bruges.
Hotel Leopold no longer exists. Today it's Strands of Time. Very charming.
