We spent 2 wonderful days in Hilton. Rooms are spacious with beautiful sea view. Breakfast is great with many options. There are also options for additional meals like eggs Benedict made per order. Spa and pool amenities are beautiful. I recommend some massage package because we enjoyed it. We booked a Foodie experience package which included a dinner in their Michelin star restaurant Nebo. Nebo never dissapoints and we can only praise it. Degustation menu included in the package is their short degustation menu but I suggest selecting a full one (it's only 25€ more per person and the additional dishes were absolutely incredible). There are a few suggestions which would make the experience even better: 1. Parking should either be free for hotel guests or added to the accommodation price. 2. Add a vanity set in the bathroom (in case someone forgets cotton buds etc.) 3. Add some place to leave wet towels in the spa zone and a water cooler because the small water fountains can be hit and miss. Regardless of these suggestions we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
We stayed at this resort recently, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Perfectly located for exploring Rijeka and the surroundings, with service at a five-star level. I especially want to praise Sara at reception – she’s incredibly kind and pleasant! At check-in, she explained everything in detail, helped with parking, and sorted out all the little things without any stress. Thanks to her, we felt welcome right away, also recognized as Gold members. Daniela from room service deserves huge applause – quick, professional, and always with a smile. The food was top quality, and she made us feel extra special. But the biggest shoutout goes to Vedrana! She’s a person with a big heart; you can see she truly cares about people and does her job with real passion – not just for the job, but because she wants guests to feel comfortable. Thanks to her, the hotel becomes more than just accommodation; she knows Rijeka and the area better than any tourist guide. She’s ready to personally organize an excursion based on your preferences, recommends hidden gems, and ensures you experience everything the location has to offer. Vedrana is the star of this hotel – huge kudos once again! I recommend it to everyone, especially those wanting an authentic Rijeka experience. 10/10!
One of the best hotels in the region. The staff in the restaurants, bars, and spa are very polite and kind. The hotel also has one of the best gyms in the region. The massages are among the best I’ve ever experienced. I recommend making a reservation before your stay at the hotel. One thing that needs improvement is the personnel at the hotel reception. If you don’t speak with the same person, you might receive conflicting information (e.g., about your deposit amount or parking fee). The reception staff are your first and last contact with the hotel. Everything else works great and meets a high standard of quality.
A 5/5 view with an equally outstanding service. All rooms have a balcony with an amazing view. Will be back for a third time for sure. Breakfast is also on a high level of quality (and included in room price)
We have been regular guests at the terrace café of Hilton Rijeka Costabella for quite some time. Whenever the weather is nice, we come to enjoy coffee with our dog, and we have done so on several occasions without any issues. Our dog is hypoallergenic and does not shed, and he has previously sat with us on the chairs without anyone ever raising a concern. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, we experienced several unpleasant incidents with a waitress named Lusijana, whom we had not seen before. First, we waited quite a long time before she approached our table. When she finally did, her attitude felt uninterested and dismissive. For a property of this level, we expect professional, welcoming service, which we have always received in the past. She rather rudely told us that the dog was not allowed to sit on the chair. The way this was communicated felt impolite and unnecessary, especially considering that we had been there multiple times before with our dog seated the same way and no one had ever mentioned it. The coffee we ordered was noticeably below the usual standard. When she brought the tortillas, instead of explaining anything verbally, she simply pointed her finger at our dog and gestured toward the floor again. This made us feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. We would like to emphasize that Hilton is advertised as a pet-friendly hotel. Our dog did not shed, did not cause any mess, and nothing needed to be cleaned after him. There was absolutely no disturbance. The entire situation created unnecessary discomfort and left us feeling unwelcome. We finished our drinks and food and decided to leave. For an establishment of this standard, it is disappointing that such behavior can create such an unpleasant atmosphere. As frequent guests, we truly did not expect this experience.
