Queer Cyprus Association (Kuir Kıbrıs Derneği)

Kuir Kıbrıs Derneği, the Queer Cyprus Association, is the LGBTQ+ organisation of the north, founded in 2007 and based on Ahmet Sadık Street in north Nicosia (Lefkoşa). It runs a Solidarity Line for people who need support, campaigns on rights in the north, which only decriminalised sex between men in 2014, and holds joint meetings with Accept – LGBTI Cyprus in the south. The office is a short walk from the Ledra Street crossing; EU citizens can cross with an ID card, others need a passport. Google lists office hours Monday to Friday 10:00–17:00, but contact them through queercyprus.org or +90 542 858 58 47 first.
