Discrimination and aggression. Refused entry because I was a man traveling alone. First and last time. The bouncers literally push people aside to make room. This is an outrageous, illegal, and humiliating practice that has no place in Montpellier. Absolutely avoid it.
Worst nightclub experience I’ve ever had. My friend and I came to Panama Nightclub in Montpellier, excited for a fun night, and were turned away at the door for no reason at all. We were polite, well-dressed, and respectful, yet the staff treated us with zero courtesy and wouldn’t even explain why we couldn’t enter. Their attitude was rude, unprofessional, and made us feel completely unwelcome. There are so many better places in Montpellier where customers are actually respected — don’t waste your time or money here.

Four of us showed up at this nightclub and were refused entry without any valid explanation. The bouncer simply stated, curtly and dismissively, that "we weren't regulars." This behavior didn't seem to be limited to us; he was just as cold, even insulting, towards other people in line. His haughty, condescending, and disdainful attitude gives the impression that he sees himself as an all-powerful judge. He looks people up and down, scrutinizing them as if they were animals being filtered at the entrance to an enclosure. It's humiliating, unjustified, and deeply unpleasant. According to other reviews here, this is clearly not an isolated incident.
I just saw the bouncers beat up someone in the queue for no reason (he was Black). They insulted him and beat him until he bled. I do not recommend this club; it's disgusting and makes you want to vomit!!
