מה אומרים המבקרים
Visitors praise Plage de l'Espiguette for its immense, unspoiled beauty with fine sand and dunes, offering a feeling of being in the desert and being great for families. However, common complaints include the long walk to the seafront from parking, the cost of parking, and a lack of amenities like food vendors, requiring visitors to bring everything themselves. Some also mention issues with mosquitoes in the evening and security concerns with car break-ins.

על המקום הזה Plage de l'Espiguette
L'Espiguette is a long, undeveloped sand beach backed by dunes at Le Grau-du-Roi in the Gard, about 40 km east of Montpellier. misterb&b and Queer in the World both list it, with separate naturist and gay areas some way past the family beach near the car parks.
There is little shade and few services once you leave the main entrance, so bring water, food and a parasol. Parking is paid in summer and fills early on hot weekends. The dunes are protected, so keep off them, and remember that naturism is allowed on the beach but sex in public is not.

The area is very large; you have to walk to reach the seafront.
