Hotel Oderberger Berlin

Absolutely loved this hotel. Centred around an old swimming pool, it is an unusual place. The beds were comfortable, the rooms quiet, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location in the eastern part of the city wonderful.

Right on trend. This is where the action is, or at least nearby. The hotel has flair. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is excellent. The proximity to the city center is legendary. The swimming pool is not to be missed.

Warning: The pool water is very cold. Definitely not 26 degrees as described on the website. We had to leave after 15 minutes.

The spa is only moderately well-equipped.

A wonderful stay in a unique setting

The only slightly irritating thing is that you have to pay extra for the pool.

I was very disappointed with the Hotel Oderberger. The room was very expensive, yet shabbily furnished. The Wi-Fi didn't work properly, so I couldn't work in the room. Unfortunately, there were no alternative workspaces in the hotel. An event was taking place in the courtyard, so it was very noisy until 10:00 PM. At 7:30 AM, they started clearing up the party debris with a leaf blower. I was able to change rooms (for an extra charge), but even this didn't justify the very high price. The advertised swimming pool was unusable due to the aforementioned event. This wasn't communicated beforehand. On the positive side, the reception staff were friendly. Overall, the price-performance ratio at this hotel is completely unacceptable, and I won't be returning.

Nice pool but really hard process for check ins with urban sports clun
