Very cute hotel not badly priced nice views somewhere to sit too

Best hotel in town! Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff.

Everything was fine, we were only overnight guests for one day. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly.

The hotel's location is very central, making it easy to get everywhere. Our room was ideally sized for two people. The toilet and bathroom were very stylish and conveniently designed for two people to use comfortably at the same time. However, the storage space and coat racks were insufficient; we had some difficulty with that. Also, I would expect a capsule coffee machine and a mini-fridge in a hotel room of this standard. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but it would be even more comfortable if these shortcomings in the room were addressed.

The staff at Chk were not very empathetic. A few days after we stopped by, no one even looked at us or said hello. The bar, however, was good and friendly. Breakfast could be improved. The room and cleanliness were very good. Logistically perfect.

We stayed at the Leonardo for five days and were very satisfied, with a few minor drawbacks. The location near Friedrichstrasse station is perfect, yet still relatively quiet. There are many restaurants and pubs nearby. Our room was good, with a lovely view over Berlin (8th floor), a decent size, and a proper bathroom. Cleanliness was good, with a few minor issues in the corners, but that was acceptable. However, the mattress was not good. It was very worn on the left and right sides, so much so that you sometimes felt like you might fall off. This certainly doesn't apply to all rooms (the mattress was fine on a previous visit), but it shouldn't happen in a four-star Leonardo. Breakfast was also very good, although the same every day, but it was always promptly replenished. We particularly appreciated the option of having breakfast outside in the quiet courtyard. Otherwise, my only complaint is a broken elevator (which has probably been broken for some time now); if the second one (out of three) also breaks down, this leads to quite long waiting times in the morning at breakfast time.

Large hotel with many guests, good location, clean rooms. Breakfast was adequate. Positive: juicer. Negative: the buffet is crammed into three corners with few tables, accessible only from one side. This makes it a bit crowded. Reception was friendly, but I would have appreciated a bit more problem-solving skills (the card didn't work) and more calm, friendliness, and composure in such unpleasant situations for guests. Then I wouldn't have been so stressed. The location is otherwise good, and the surrounding area is quite clean.

It might not seem it from the maps, but the location of the hotel is excellent. Very close to Friedrichstrasse and the banhof yet quiet and relaxing. The platz outside the hotel is quietly fun, often filled with rather serious students, and the closeness of ~Dussmann and the other shops on the strasse are very much a plus, as is the Irish bar on the corner, a great oasis for the weary traveller. I didn't stay for breakfast but I had a drink in the hotel bar, which was pleasant and quietish.

Would give it a 5 star if there was more food options available.
