Good little gay bar in the city center

Attentive and friendly staff. A smile or a good joke might even get you a free shot. Current music is played, and requests are fulfilled whenever possible. Simply a nice bar for a relaxed and exciting evening... ;-))

Definitely recommended on weekends, as Musk usually fills up around 11:30 pm or even earlier. You can drink beer or even dance there until the early hours. There's a darkroom in the back where things usually get pretty lively. The prices are quite reasonable for a gay club, although as a passionate beer drinker, I've switched to sparkling wine because I really don't like the Warsteiner on tap. (It's not my brand, but that's a matter of taste, as I'm a fan of Krombacher and Flensburger, etc.). During the week, except for Tuesdays (2 for 1), it's not really worth going, as it's often quiet or sometimes even completely empty. But that's not Musk's or the staff's fault. Dirk, who greets guests at the entrance, is practically an institution at Musk. Always friendly, always funny. A great bar, even if, like so many others, its golden age is over. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Whether you're from Düsseldorf or a tourist, you should definitely go there and/or even become a regular. I, 33, have been going to Musk regularly since 2005.

Nice place, there are hardly any women here but they are welcome too. Good music and nice people.

I wouldn't recommend this club to anyone. If you're a woman, you'll face discrimination even before you get in. Disapproving looks and comments like "Ew, a woman!" and "What's a woman doing here?" are thrown at you without hesitation, and if you dare to enter the club, you'll hear things like, "You don't belong here." After my friend and I left, someone shouted after us that they were going to call the police because we'd forgotten to return our order slips to the bartender (those slips where you record your drinks). We didn't drink anything, let alone order anything, in this "wonderful" atmosphere. To cut a long story short: This club is perfect for brainless and immature people who just want a quickie in the dark or in the bathroom.
