Vista Marina

Excellent hotel near the marina, a 10-minute walk from the center. Very welcoming staff.

We stayed two nights in this hotel with our dog, all the staff were excellent and the location was very good, next to the port and very close to the Kalamata beach. However, the rooms do not provide in any way the rest you need when you go on vacation. The doors of the rooms were literally bedroom doors, we could not feel safe and leave our things inside and we constantly checked if we locked ourselves since anyone could have entered in case we had not. However, at night it was the worst, no soundproofing, we stayed on the 3rd floor and when they were having gatherings in the ground floor shop you could hear it all the way to our room and on the other hand the beds with lousy mattresses that you woke up with your whole body aching. The rooms were incredibly small with closed suitcases and you had no space to step anywhere, unbelievable that the balcony had more space than the room. Very expensive for what it provided.

I went and found out that I booked a pension rather than a hotel, completely overpriced for the room it offers. Don't trust the photos you see on the site. Disappointment!!!
