Arkādijas Park (cruising)

Arkādijas dārzs (Arkādija Park) in the Torņakalns district is a landscaped park on the left bank of the Daugava with a long-standing reputation as a discreet gay cruising area, particularly after dark along its secluded paths. Latvia is comparatively tolerant, but cruising here is informal rather than officially sanctioned — use common sense, respect other park users and local law, and stay aware of your surroundings.
