RoB Amsterdam

RoB has been cutting leather on the Warmoesstraat since 1975, which makes it the elder statesman of the street and one of the oldest fetish ateliers in Europe still in operation. The in-house workshop is the point: custom-made and made-to-measure leather is still produced on site. The store stocks the classic range — leather, rubber, uniforms, boots, toys and hardware — and doubles as an unofficial information desk for the leather scene: staff know every event on the calendar. Together with the Eagle and Dirty Dicks a few doors down, RoB anchors what remains Europe's most walkable leather quarter.
