Hotel Not Hotel Rotterdam

The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. Great people! The room was a bit too small for us, but that’s on us for booking the cheapest hotel we could find. It lacked some basic maintenance, and was a bit dirty. Had some trouble with the AC, the temperature was constantly 26-28 degrees, even though we tried turning it down to the lowest setting. Very quiet area, only 5 minutes away from the train station. Would recommend!

The location is great, but that's it Terribly hot in summer, AC is working but not cooling the room. On arrival it was +34C - warmer than outside! We left the air con on max for several hours and it was still 29, hard to sleep in such heat. Next day at time of check out the temperature in the room was still 28... The layout is also strange - the shower is transparent, the sink is outside of the toilet.

Fantastic hotel; you have to stay there to understand. I've never seen anything like it. Very scenic. On the downside, our rooms were tiny with blocked windows and no closet. It's perfect for a short stay. Competitive price for the location. I highly recommend this very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks are available on site.

Terribly nice and practical hotel within walking distance between Central Station and Avis, and not expensive. Arrive by train in the evening, take the car the next morning and head to the client. It doesn't get more practical than that. Funny rooms, backpacker vibe but also works for the business traveler. The only problem recently: breakfast is no longer served, so one star less for the service. De Broodhandel is within walking distance, but it doesn't open until 8 o'clock (city bakery 😕). Even though coffee, tea and such remain available, I like to have breakfast in a hotel to sit quietly for a bit, prepare for a meeting AND brush my teeth, and then head to the client. Now everything has to be done the other way around, a shame. Please reintroduce breakfast 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 it can be simple, as long as it's filling.

I couldn't have imagined a place being this awful. The photos of this hotel are incredibly misleading—whoever took them definitely knows a thing or two about photography. The room was tiny and didn't even have a window. The air was so stuffy that my child started feeling dizzy after just a few minutes. Water was constantly dripping onto the floor from the air conditioner. It really makes you wonder if the owner would be better off investing their money in renovating the rooms instead of just focusing on a polished presentation. On top of that, I found two bugs by the sink. The only saving grace is the good location.

An unusual hotel. The interior is very pretty. Unfortunately, the rooms are very small and have no windows that open to the outside. Ideal for just one night. We didn't book the smallest room, but there was no space to get ready in the morning. No chairs or tables. No elevator. Otherwise, the interior setting is truly unique... There's an outdoor terrace, but smoking is prohibited.
