Loved this hotel. As a wheelchair user it can be hit or miss when booking but Staybridge Suites didn’t disappoint. The room was large enough to accommodate me and the bed was comfortable and the suite clean. The bathroom was perfect with everything I needed within reach including a separate lower sink and easy to use shower seat. I loved the vaulted ceiling. Everything you could need was provided. The staff and housekeepers were polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic! There are a couple of negatives but not so negative as to put a dent on our stay. The lift is just big enough for a motorised chair and one other person which made getting in and out harder as you have to reverse and my chair likes to swivel its wheels when it changes direction, a couple of extra inches and it would have been perfect. Parking is awful if you need to be close to the hotel. All the disabled spaces were taken for four of our five days there and only one space had a blue badge on display, reception said they’d message the guests without a badge and despite us waiting for twenty minutes none appeared. It’s okay though because if you leave the car park and turn right there is a massive car park that costs just £4 for an overnight stay and it’s free if you have a blue badge. This did mean we had to leave the car while getting our luggage and me in the wheelchair to the room before husband could go find the car park but it worked out cheaper than the £15 parking the hotel charges. The hotel has a restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced. Dundee was easy to access from the hotel, great to explore and has lots of places to shop and eat and excellent entertainment.

Nice large room, good breakfast

Hotel was great. We ate at the restaurant on site and the food was delicious! Breakfast was quality and to our surprise they had happy hour with complementary wine and beer and snacks on Thursday night.

Reviews are over rated…I would have stayed somewhere else. Here is a honest review: The good: Room is fine! And has a kitchen with dishwasher. Social event at Tuesdays and Wednesday 5:30-6:30 PM with free beer, wine, cheese and cold cuts. Staff is friendly. The bad: breakfast is limited and is ALWAYS the same (after 6 nights we couldn’t take it anymore). The room is spacious but not like the pictures. We booked one with 2 windows, and had a ground floor one instead, with one window and barely any light. The room cleaning is a joke: they will only make your bed and that’s it. No real cleaning. And ironically you have a QR code to tip the cleaners in the room, where they don’t even do clean. It’s not that close to the city center. We had no shower gel/body wash upon arrival. One day the napkins “ran out” during breakfast. Only one woman (doing her best) running the breakfast service all alone - and clearly overwhelmed as she couldn’t keep up with refilling, requests, cleaning etc. they HAVE to hire more staff. Wi-Fi has consistent breaks in the room (if you come to work, consider this). Smoking area in a corner, very uncomfortable, and they won’t let you smoke outside - in theory. We saw people smoking where it wasn’t allowed, and they did nothing - which I don’t care, EXCEPT that last night, there was a guy screaming and hitting cars (literally damaging them) - and we asked staff if we could smoke in the other corner because of this. They said no. It was 2AM and only the crazy guy breaking cars was there. We wouldn’t bother anyone. We also got concerned as they did nothing to stop him. The damage in the vehicle was clear the morning after. This is a security concern.

Great accomodation+ breakfast

Yes, I would stay here again. For one, it’s dog friendly and the room was spacious and well appointed with everything you’d need (inc iron and board). Breakfast was nice with a decent selection. Only thing I’d like to see is free parking but I get it, it’s a city centre location and parking is limited. Thanks for a really pleasant stay.

First time staying in a suite. View from my window was of the retail park, docks and river, but I was happy with this. Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely room with everything I could need to cook what I wanted and have a lovely time. Will definitely stay there again. Breakfast included although I didn't make use of it this time.

Room was lovely and really well stocked. Breakfast had lots of choice. Easily walkable from the centre of dundee

Although I normally stay in hotels linked with their sister brand HI Express I think Staybridge Suites are definitely my go-to hotel from now on. The hotel was spotless and the room could not be faulted.

Staybridge Suites Dundee, an IHG Hotel Best accommodation of our Europe trip so far. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The full kitchen setup made a big difference. It felt relaxed and easy staying there. Location was convenient for getting around Dundee. Staff were friendly and welcoming during the stay. Only downside. The hotel allows dog (dog friendly venue), which is fine. However, dogs were present near the buffet breakfast area. There should be a clearer cut off around food service spaces for hygiene reasons. Overall, excellent stay and we would absolutely return.
