Karson

Karson is a wooded island near Drottningholm, west of the city, known among locals as an outdoor gay cruising area. Reach it by taking the metro to Brommaplan and a bus toward Drottningholm, getting off just after the first bridge and walking through the fields and forest. Activity centres on the trails and peaks on summer afternoons and evenings. It is an informal, seasonal spot where discretion and respect for the natural area and other visitors are expected.
