Hotel Oberland

For a price of €250 per night, we expected a significantly better breakfast. The vegetables provided were merely symbolic (half a tomato and half a bell pepper for the entire buffet), and hot items such as eggs were prepared only upon explicit request. Combined with the hotel's noisy location next to a main road, the overall value for money was very poor.The location on a busy mountain road is something that cannot be changed. However, the breakfast could be much better and should not reflect such an extreme level of cost-cutting, especially at this price point.My overall impression was that this was a luxuriously packaged minimum. Despite the high price, the experience fell far short of expectations. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

Check in was a bit tedious, just going through the computer system and hoping everything functioned properly that day. We are more of the "staff on site" kind of guests, but if you don't like dealing with other people, this is the hotel for you. Beautiful spacious living room with seperate bedroom and very nice bathroom/shower. Dog friendly and lovely balcony with incredible view. A bit loud with street directly below and church bells across the way. Bar with snack was convenient, but it would have been nice to also have some juice choices. My husband was grateful for the coffee machine and he said at breakfast it was the best croissant he has ever eaten. He also got a great night sleep on the hard mattress, which he prefers, but for my preference of a soft bed, my hips and back hurt the next morning (Even though the hotel provides extra bedding and pillows, which is very nice.) Not a lot of easy green space to get to for the dog and a bit stressful since it is so close to a main road. The hotel restaurant was not open during our stay, but there was a dog friendly choice within easy walking distance. We always find staying in either Liechtenstein or Switzerland more than double the prize of staying in Italy, Austria or Germany, but the views are unbeatable. Maybe just drive through or hike there for the scenery and stay somewhere cheaper, is my opinion.

I highly recommend a stay at this hotel. It's in an exceptionally beautiful location and has a balcony with mountain views. The hotel also has a sauna, which is truly excellent. I highly recommend it. I give this hotel 10 out of 10 points. From the balcony, you have a direct view of the mountains and the city of Liechtenstein.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights as a family vacation. Self-check-in was very easy, and we received free access to public transportation, which departs right outside the door. The hotel rooms were very clean, the bathroom was spacious enough for two people to get ready, and pleasantly warm. The room was further enhanced by the fantastic view of the Rhine Valley from the balcony. Breakfast offered a great selection of bread, croissants, cold cuts, cheeses, and muesli. We made excellent use of the self-service snack and drinks bar in the breakfast room every evening, and the sauna was also a highlight.

Very nice and cosy hotel in Triesenberg. It offers a very nice view and is only 16 minutes away from Malbun Zentrum by bus (in front of the hotel), super practical to go skiing and leave the car in the hotel car park. The breakfast room is super nice and cosy, it is always open and you can relax there or bring your diner. There is also free coffee/tea/milk/hot chocolate and honesty bar available all day, super useful with kids or just to take a break and enjoy the view and atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel. Reception was easy, room was comfortable, Sauna was very relaxing and breakfast has what you need. I recommend.

Self check-in, good price for the suite

Definitely stay here versus Vaduz. The breakfast is perfect. They will serve you eggs. You can also have Greek yogurt with fruit and some bread. Lattes/coffee/tea are unlimited and free. Self check in is easy, just pay attention when you are making your room key, that’s when it tells you the room number you are in. It doesn’t have air conditioning so you need to keep the window open. I’m not sure how well that works in the summer but it’s fine in the winter for sure. The road noise is loud and the church bell in the morning is too if you have the window open so just be aware of that if you are a light sleeper.

We stayed here back when it was the Martha Bühler and really enjoyed ourselves . A dramatic drive out of Vaduz leads to the this mountaintop hotel and its beautifully maintained rooms. We would love to stay here again on our next visit.

I stayed in Liechtenstein in March and decided to return and found Hotel Oberland this time. I wish I would have found this hotel sooner. This place is absolutely amazing and by far one of the best hotels in Liechtenstein! The rooms are amazing, the view is out of this world and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The self check in was easier than I thought. I cannot wait to return to Liechtenstein and will be staying here again and again!
