Ozgur Kanatlar Antalya

Ozgur Kanatlar Antalya (Free Wings) is a grassroots LGBTI+ collective in Antalya, best known as one of the groups behind Antalya Onur Haftasi (Antalya Pride Week), which reached its ninth edition in 2023 alongside the first International Attalos Pride. Like all Pride events in Turkey, Antalya's marches have repeatedly been banned by the provincial governor's office on public-morality grounds, part of a nationwide crackdown on LGBTI+ visibility since 2015. The collective works with allied groups such as local LGBTI+ family networks and the 17 May Association on cultural and solidarity activities. As with most Turkish LGBTI+ organising, activities are shared through trusted community and social-media channels rather than a public office, and plans can change at short notice for safety reasons.
