Ozgur Kanatlar Antalya

Özgür Kanatlar (Free Wings) is a grassroots LGBTI+ collective in Antalya and one of the groups behind Antalya Pride Week (Antalya Onur Haftası). It organises talks, cultural events and solidarity work with other Turkish LGBTI+ groups. It has no public office or listed contact, so social media is the only realistic way to reach it. The Antalya governor's office has banned Pride events repeatedly, part of a nationwide pattern since 2015, and police have detained participants. Same-sex relations are legal in Turkey, but visitors should not join unauthorised street events.
