מצעד הגאווה של לידס, הגאווה הגדולה ביותר ביורקשייר, משתלטת על מרכז העיר לסוף שבוע באמצע יולי. הוא החל בשנת 2006 עם כ-6,500 אנשים, על פי ה-Yorkshire Evening Post, ומאז גדל למלא את הרחובות.
המצעד מתחיל ליד בית העירייה וכיכר המילניום, ומתפתל לכיוון לואר בריגייט (Lower Briggate), שם תמצאו שורה של ברים גאים מתחת לגשר הרכבת הצבוע בקשת בענן – מה שהמקומיים מכנים גשר החירות (Freedom Bridge). כאן מתמקמים פסטיבל הרחוב, במות הקברט וזירת הריקודים, כאשר ההכנות מתחילות בכיכר המילניום. הכניסה חופשית, ויש אזורי צפייה מוגבהים בכיכר המילניום ובלואר בריגייט לנקודות תצפית טובות יותר. עד אמצע אחר הצהריים, הברים בלואר בריגייט מלאים.
