There's no air conditioning, and in the recent heatwave, having just a noisy fan blowing the hot air around the room was awful! Clean and comfy though. Plus a road sweeper outside the hotel was so noisy for well over an hour in the middle of the night not only ensured everyone was woken up, but by the time it left, we were totally wide awake.

Overall had a great experience, but the customer service was very poor and slow . Often seeing people wait for ages till the staff stopped talking. Seeing staff have job interviews while people were eating . Pure unprofessional behaviour the area itself is not the nicest place either and not child friendly with the rough environment. I wouldn’t recommend staying here

I had a very disappointing stay at Travelodge. The room was extremely dirty, and the bed sheets smelled very bad, as if they had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom was even worse — the shower curtain was covered in visible mould, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. The overall cleanliness and hygiene standards were shocking, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made.

While the hotel is budget friendly and staff are friendly, i would not recommend due to cleanliness and mould issues. To me it is obvious that housekeeping do not clean to a high standard or report issues such as mould to the manager. Mould should be treated immediately. Also, on arrival to my room I noticed the soap dispenser had a lot of short hairs on it, hair strands in the bath and sink. Tea spoons placed in rooms are clearly just rinsed with water and aren't scrubbed or sanitised to a high standard (you can see the stains in the photos). The hotel is also very stingy with toilet roll, sometimes they won't even replace it even if there's none left in the room and you must ask them to. I also got bed bug bites from 2 separate rooms and when I told reception they took ages to investigate and claimed that they are not aware of the protocol for this which is nonsense

Nice comfortamble stay till breakfast when stafv more bothered about talking than making sure breakfast food was toppex up waited twenty minutes and only half of offer came out no beans mushrooms tomatoes etc then no cups out for a coffee or a glass for fruit juice then trying to find staff none to see u less u shouted toward kitchen

After this experience I will never stay at a Travelodge ever again. It's impossible to contact or speak to anyone in customer services too, which gives me no peace of mind. There are much better hotels you can stay in than Travelodge, but at least I've learnt a lesson for next time.

We found the service in this hotel to be very good. Omar and his team really looked after us. Great location next to the city centre.
