Hotel Caiçara

Hotel Caiçara, formerly a Best Western, is a mid-range hotel on Avenida Olinda in Tambaú, one block inland and about 200 m from the beach. Its site lists 121 rooms in three categories, a rooftop pool, the Calypso restaurant and plenty of parking. Being off the seafront keeps prices lower than the beachfront hotels, and you're still a short walk from the Feirinha de Tambaú and Empório Café. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
