Novooeste Bar

Novooeste is a lesbian-run cocktail bar in Santa Teresa, on Rua Paschoal Carlos Magno near Largo dos Guimarães. Google lists it as a lesbian bar, and the Anda Direito map and 2024-26 Rio LGBT guides include it. It is a relaxed neighbourhood bar with drinks and snacks rather than a club, popular with queer women and their friends. Google reviewers rate it 4.6 from about 250 reviews. Santa Teresa is hilly and poorly lit at night, so get an app car to the door.
