Ok now I understand I did sign up for a membership for the bathhouse and I will be responsible and safe

I visited Night Spa Halifax on Sunday from 16:00 to 20:00, hoping for a fun, relaxed vibe and maybe even a connection with someone around my age (I’m 23). I walked in excited, optimistic, and fully prepared to meet the man of my dreams. What I absolutely did not expect was to feel like I had accidentally wandered into a retirement-home field trip. To be fair, there’s nothing wrong with an older crowd—everyone deserves a good time. But the age gap was so extreme that I genuinely felt like the youngest person within several decades. I kept waiting for someone even remotely close to my age to appear… and they never did. At one point I started wondering whether I had misread the opening hours and accidentally entered some alternate dimension where I was the only guy under 90. The atmosphere was friendly, sure, but it was not the environment I was hoping for. By the end of the evening I felt more like a volunteer at a seniors’ social than someone out to meet new people. If you’re looking for a much older crowd, maybe this place is a dream come true. But if you’re in your 20s and hoping to meet people anywhere near your age, my experience says: manage your expectations… very carefully.

The place was unreasonably dirty and my partner and I were near the only people there.
