Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles North Loudoun

I have filed a complaint after waiting 3 hours in a hotel lobby waiting for a room. They said their computer systems were down and couldn’t check anyone in. The hotel management had about 30 guests waiting for a room. After hours they finally started to check in guests. They never told us their members about the complimentary reception, they didn’t offer guests anything to drink, they hid in an office behind the front desk. I filed a complaint on August 2 about the experience and was told I’d be contacted within 3 days. Today, August 15 I called guest services again and was told it was my fault that I hadn’t contacted Hilton back about the experience even though I was told Hilton would contact me! When you ask for a supervisor due to the blame on the guest Remero states he is the highest that a guest can talk too and that their is no one higher to contact or talk to. It’s sad when you contact a brand like Hilton and they don’t care about their guests and give poor customer service. I had to put my husband on the phone because the man wouldn’t even let me speak. Maybe someone will review this review and contact me from Hilton.

The suite looks nice and modern, and the atmosphere is great, although the building itself is a bit older. However, I honestly don’t understand why this is called a “suite.” We’re staying here for two weeks with two four-year-old children, so having a properly equipped kitchen is important for us. I expected at least some basic kitchenware, a reasonably sized refrigerator, and a small dining table where we could prepare and eat simple meals. Unfortunately, there’s only a sink. There are no real kitchen facilities, and it feels almost no different from a regular hotel room. With two young children, this has made our stay quite inconvenient. I probably should have looked more closely at the photos before booking, but I still expected a suite to offer more. If you’re in a similar situation—traveling with young children and planning a longer stay—I would definitely consider this carefully before booking.

I've been to this hotel many times. It is fantastic! I made a few mistakes in my booking a couple of times and Alicia was super helpful every single time. She answered all of my questions and helped me correct my errors. Everytime I go she is super nice and is always so welcoming. Her service is always top notch. Even the kitchen team is fantastic. They are super friendly and I enjoy our morning conversations.

This hotel is a disgrace. I originally booked the adjacent Homewood Suites, and found no one working there upon arrival. I checked in with the Embassy Suites who took 20 minutes to figure out that I’d been transferred (without any notice!) to them from Homewood Suites. That’s just the beginning of the nightmare. They gave me a room that already had guests in it so I was double booked. I went down and was given a different room. Guess what? The second room was locked and had a do not disturb sign, so again, their reservation system is so messed up. How can you talk about any sense of security at this hotel?? After almost two hours I finally got an empty room. The ladies at the front desk were very apologetic and promised they would file a claim to compensate me with some points. They never did. Wow. What nice liars. I will never stay with any Hilton hotels from now on. What a disgrace

Worst stay ever at an Embassy Suites. We booked for 4 adults and room was set up for 2. There were not enough towels or wash cloths. There were not enough pillows and the front desk did not have any more to hand out. We arrived late and had the do not disturb sign up but we're still bothered 3 times in the morning including one person entering the room.When trying to get more towels in the morning I first asked a housekeeper who sent me to the from desk and they were out of towels too. I had to go to 3 more housekeeping carts before I found a housekeeper that had towels. I was later told two of their dryers were broken but this does not excuse the lack of towels.They were out of orange juice at breakfast and closed the breakfast area before 10 am. I tried to speak with the manager Carla/Karla about the numerous service failures but she refused to accept responsibility and made numerous excuses instead of addressing the problems. I would expect more and normally receive better from Embassy Suites and have been staying in them for over 35 years.Do better Carla/Karla. Extremely disappointed with this stay and the terrible service we received..

Quiet location. Rooms were clean. Only problem was no servicing of our room one day and no towels throughout the stay. We consistently had to ask for towels each day.

The rooms, breakfast and happy hour was fine but the room ACs don’t drop below 68, and even at that temp, rooms didn’t feel too cold. The pool area is also decent. Minus the room temp, I don’t have any complaints. The breakfast was made to order and pretty decent. We got a king suite room and it was perfect for an active toddler and 2 adults. If you have a kid, I would recommend calling ahead to reserve a crib (if you need).

I was pretty disappointed with this stay. I’m a Hilton Gold member and asked about the usual waters/snacks, but the front desk told me no and seemed like they didn’t really know what I was talking about. Since I didn’t get the bottled water, I ended up drinking tap water from the room and that’s when I noticed the glass was dirty. Then we found a sewing needle on the floor, which really bothered me because I had my 6-year-old with me. I’m not usually one to nitpick, but the dirty glass, the needle on the floor, and the confusion about basic Hilton perks made the whole stay feel off.

Reserved a room with a king bed over a month ago. Got here and they put me in a room with two queen beds. Bed linens had stains, Internet was out, tv was out. Requested fresh linens and three hours later still have not received any linens. Was told the Internet was out because of the weather. It’s a small amount of clouds and rain, how is the internet out when your business is in the data center capital of the world?
