The Parker Hotel

A fine hotel. Breakfast is not available in the hotel, but they provide a discount coupon to the the diner in the same building and that is an excellent choice. Couple of minor nits... Rooms could use a bit more light. And one of the power outlets had spotty power.

I stayed at the hotel this past week through Sunday morning. The staff was polite and professional, the hotel was clean and the rooms were nice. I found the king size room with sofa comfortable and clean. My issue was the first night- almost no hot water for the shower or water pressure. The lack of water pressure seemed to be an issue in the morning and night and there wasn't much hot water regardless of time. While the there are restaurants in the first floor of the hotel- there is not ample parking for guests at the hotel. On two occasions I left and came back and I had to hunt for a place to park. Saturday- there was no place to park all day long and while i was told I could park in the closed AMC parking lot- that was a bridge too far.

I loved everything about my stay. The location is quiet, clean and comfy. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and made the stay very enjoyable and relaxing. Plus, the bathroom was spotless and BEAUTIFUL.

Great price, location and local amenities. Easy to find, check-in super smooth. My room is very clean, spacious, and well decorated. Thanks to Anders for the great customer service.

The lobby makes an immediate impression of cleanliness and ease, with staff who bring both genuine warmth and quiet efficiency to the check-in process in a way that settles guests from the outset. Rooms offer a dependable standard of comfort and a welcome degree of calm, tended to a level that ensures a full and restorative night's sleep presents no difficulty whatsoever. The property as a whole stands as good value for money, giving guests every reason to recommend it freely and to look upon a future stay as an entirely appealing proposition.

A really cool boutique hotel

Came here planning to spend some quality time… mostly in the hotel. A little surprised there’s no microwave in the room — maybe that’s a Holiday Inn Express thing? The shower is low flow, the hot water is enough but never gets toasty-warm, and the beds, pillows, and towels are perfectly fine… just not “I’ll write home about this” fine. The staff, though? Absolutely amazing. I needed one tiny item and before I could even sit down, it was at my door. Friendly, helpful, and basically magical. Rooms are on the dim side, with 1920s black-and-white décor and a great chandelier. Not totally soundproof, but good enough if you’re out and about during the day. If I tried again, I’d ask for a top-floor room with a balcony. Otherwise, I’d probably look elsewhere — but for this stay, it was totally sufficient. Sometimes “just right” is enough. 😎
