Jungle Tiki Bar

Jungle is an LGBTQ+-owned tiki bar just off the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, tucked into the West End at 2018 10th Street. Opened in 2019 in a former wine-bar space, it trades kitschy cliché for an airy, plant-filled tropical lounge — rattan furniture, sliding floor-to-ceiling windows and an umbrella-shaded patio. The drinks are rum-forward tiki cocktails, from classics like the mai tai, painkiller and zombie to original builds served in conch-shell mugs, alongside an island-leaning wine list and Caribbean-inspired bites. As one of Boulder's few openly LGBTQ+-owned venues, Jungle is a dependable queer-friendly anchor in a city without a dedicated gay bar. It hosts community events including adult drag bingo and, during Pride season, the Boulder Q+ Tea Dance and Pride fundraisers with Rocky Mountain Equality — a relaxed, welcoming spot for cocktails whether you're a local or just passing through.
