Club Escape is a gay bar and dance club in South Shore, well away from the North Side bars most visitors know. It draws a mostly local, largely Black LGBTQ crowd, and regulars tend to know each other. DJs play hip hop, R&B and house, and Thursday has been billed as ladies' night. The listed hours are Thursday and Friday 10pm to 2am, Saturday 9pm to 3am, and a Sunday session from 3pm to 8pm. It's closed Monday to Wednesday. The address is 1530 East 75th Street, and the Metra Electric line and CTA buses both run nearby.
