Complex entity that defies evaluation. For issues not directly impacting the heart they are a gift to us. They give 80 queer seniors a home and vital services. No one could take their place and few would try. But a therapist's blindness to the limitations of his team left a friend broken and grief-stricken. He was not available for any kind of discussion no matter what boundaries were suggested . For me, like most clinics, they simply did not understand the connection of trauna to my heart. They went robot-like through the motions of care delivery. "Performing therapy"
