I was actually quite pleasantly surprised with this hotel, you can tell their actively working on trying to improve areas such as the hallways and common areas, but the rooms themselves were actually clean and comfortable. You can tell they try hard to keep their property nice. I wasn’t sure what to expect based on some of the reviews and the way the area looks, but this was actually a nice property, clean and comfortable. No real complaints thus far.

Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Overall I would say the property would be considered a "value" option. I chose this property as the price was fair- there was an event in town that apparently drove up hotel prices within I-270. I wouldn't pursue this property or area for future trips, but would consider it again if price was an issue. Rooms were average sized, mostly clean and seemed like they have been refreshed somewhat recently. Good pillows, but the beds were soft, there were stains on the furniture (probably from pets), the LVT flooring in bathroom was bouncy (probably from a previous water issue), and it was pretty easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms and in the hallway. Property is pet friendly so pet odors are slightly noticeable (in the hallways especially), but they do their best to hide it with air fresheners. The breakfast was decent, but basic. Mostly continental with a hot item like sausage. Can make your own waffles. The surrounding area is very tired with many vacant or old buildings. The area didn't seem unsafe, but need to be a bit cautious. It is very close to I-270 and currently that interchange is having a lot of construction. So for now access is difficult, but not an issue for the future. Nothing notable as far as restaurants/ nearby entertainment, nor is there the ability to safely walk in the vicinity (due to traffic).

This is a great hotel, 4k TV, free breakfast, decent wifi, there is a gym, with a peloton bike, and other equipment, though the dumbell selection could be improved. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in, so far.

I was attempting to check out on May 18th at 6:35 AM, but the receptionist behaved very rudely; he snatched the room key from my hand aggressively and demanded that I leave immediately. He displayed a very peculiar attitude.

20 minutes from Ohio stadium.

No elevator so with only 2 rooms available once we checked in one part of our group had to walk a mile to their room and the other had to climb metal stairs then walk a mile. Loud fight for an hour before someone called police finally on first floor at 2am and at 5am on top floor kids were running and screaming down hallway for a half hour so not a good night sleep for anyone

The front lady at the desk was really helpful. My first room I checked, didn’t seem like it wasn’t cleaned so went straight down. She transferred me rooms and the other room was much better.

It’s a terrible hotel don’t waste your time or money coming here. Bad location, lots of traffic trying to get out onto the interstate, the room walls are paper thin and you can hear every footstep walking by. The doors don’t close behind you (both the room and the outside doors) the room doors don’t have a hinge hook lock, my bathroom door didn’t close and also the ac machine doesn’t work that well. I’ve stayed at La Quinta’s before and I’m not expecting luxury, but usually just a fine average stay for a good price. This was worse than a motel 6, and at least a motel 6 I could’ve saved money. Also the front desk lady came running over to yell at me for getting water out of the juice dispenser after breakfast hours. Oh also the bottom floor the windows are right in front of parking spaces so you get cars and headlights in your room. No one stay here, let them go out of business.
