The Center — UCO BGLTQ+ Student Center

The Center at the University of Central Oklahoma pairs the Women's Research Center with the BGLTQ+ Student Center, giving Edmond its most established LGBTQ+ hub. Founded in 2015, it is one of the few dedicated queer campus centers in Oklahoma. The Center offers a lending library, meeting and study space, peer support, and a steady calendar of programming, and it has helped launch UCO's own Edmond Pride celebration. Housed in the Max Chambers Library on the UCO campus just east of downtown, it is open to students and community members alike and anchors most of the organized LGBTQ+ life in Edmond.
