Enchantment Resort

I had a truly unpleasant experience staying at this hotel. On the day of arrival, I wasn't shown to my room even at 4 PM, the check-in time, and it was past 5 PM. Despite telling them I had a dinner reservation at 5:30 PM, all they said was to wait. We have to pay extra for a late check-out, yet the hotel staff didn't even apologize for the late check-in. Furthermore, the daily cleaning wasn't finished even at 4 PM when I returned from sightseeing in Sedona, and they didn't come to clean until 5 PM. I wanted to relax, but I couldn't rest. I had such an unpleasant experience that I checked out a night early. I will never go there again.

This is understated lux done very well. Krystal was closing the lunch restaurant and took time to engage with us and made an excellent prickly drink. Starting here next time

Away from amenities when you need them the parade as a five star diamond hotel but they have the flare of a motel 6 in a nice location with trashy staff late night the day staff was nice night is without class and no alcohol or Roomsevice after a time and the spa is not apart of the hotel so definitely not a 5 star boardering on 4 a 3 at least has the expectation of 3 I would have been impressed

Beautiful location with spectacular red rock views and direct access to Boynton Canyon hiking trails. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, the resort feels overpriced for what you get. Our room was dated and had not been renovated, noise traveled easily between rooms, the food was very average for the price, and the property was much less peaceful than expected due to the number of children and the constant noise from pickleball and tennis courts near the pool. If you're coming primarily for the scenery and hiking, you'll love it. If you're looking for a quiet luxury getaway, you may be disappointed. Pros: • Stunning views everywhere you look • Direct access to Boynton Canyon trails right from the property • Friendly and attentive staff • Beautiful pool area and grounds Cons: • Many rooms are dated and in need of renovation • Noise carries easily between rooms • Lots of families and children throughout the resort • Pool overlooks the pickleball and tennis courts, so there is constant court noise • Food is expensive and surprisingly average A funny moment upon arrival: the bellhop informed us that about half the rooms have been renovated and half have not, and ours was one of the ones that had not. While I appreciated the honesty, it is probably not the first thing most guests want to hear when checking into a luxury resort. We are fairly certain the room next door had been renovated with hard flooring because we could clearly hear a toddler dragging a chair across the floor multiple times a day. Apparently, we got all the noise benefits of the renovation without any of the actual renovation. My husband attends a conference here annually, but this was my first visit. We left our children at home hoping for a relaxing getaway, only to spend part of the trip listening to someone else's toddler rearrange furniture next door. The resort would benefit from separating family-focused accommodations from areas intended for couples and adults seeking a quieter experience. The restaurant food was not bad, but it was very average considering the prices. There are so many excellent dining options in Sedona that I would highly recommend eating off property whenever possible. Overall, Enchantment's biggest strengths are its incredible setting, hiking access, and wonderful staff. The views alone make it worth experiencing, but the dated accommodations, noise issues, and underwhelming food kept it from feeling like the luxury retreat we expected.

We recently stayed at Enchantment Resort and while the setting is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience did not match the $1,000+ per night price point. The biggest positive is definitely the location. The resort sits in stunning Boynton Canyon with incredible views and easy access to several hiking trails. The spa experience at Mii amo was also excellent, and the Hummingbird restaurant there was one of the highlights of our stay. Another standout was the Trail House staff—the guides were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in recommending hikes and activities around the area. Unfortunately, several aspects of the resort fell short: - The main pool was consistently overcrowded, making it nearly impossible to get a lounge chair when we tried on two different days. - Housekeeping regularly arrived around 5 PM—right when we were getting ready for dinner—despite us being out of the room most of the day. - Service at the pool restaurant was extremely slow. - The main restaurant, Che Ah Chi, was disappointing overall in terms of food quality, atmosphere, and service. - The TV/Chromecast setup in the room was frustrating. We spent nearly two hours troubleshooting and calling the front desk before tech support manually connected our device for the remainder of the stay. The front desk initially insisted everything was working properly. - The internet connection was unreliable and frequently buffered while streaming TV. - One concerning moment: while returning from a hiking trail, we encountered two people practicing archery who appeared to be shooting in our direction rather than toward the target area. Overall, Enchantment Resort has an amazing natural setting, excellent hiking access, a fantastic spa, and wonderful outdoor guides. However, the service, amenities, and operational issues didn't align with the luxury pricing. For the cost, I expected a much more polished and seamless experience. I'd consider returning for the setting alone, but not without significant improvements to the guest experience.

Beautiful property that had a mix bag of service depending on the day and where you were on the resort. We had great service checking in upon arrival but our cabana pool day left a lot to be desired. The rooms are a little run down in some spots but clean and well designed. We would definitely return but I do think given the price point, I’ve had better experiences.

I’ve wanted to stay at Enchantment Resort for years, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I arrived, everything felt peaceful, luxurious, and thoughtfully done. The setting in Sedona is unreal — waking up surrounded by the red rocks felt like a dream. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Sedona. The food was delicious across the board, and the service was exceptional, especially from Jason and Joey. They truly made my stay unforgettable. Seeing them each day and being greeted with such warmth and kindness made the experience feel so personal and special. They went above and beyond every time I interacted with them, and they are a huge reason why this trip was so memorable for me. The resort itself is stunning, relaxing, and full of incredible amenities, but the hospitality is what really sets it apart. I can’t say enough good things about my experience and already can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in this beautiful resort to celebrate our anniversary in May 2026 and had a wonderful experience .We stayed in a quite Casita with a balcony looking at the Boyton Canyon a Red Rocks were we enjoyed the Golden hour sunsets and early mornings Sunrises . The balcony has a gas built in bbq, table and chairs. There is a small kitchen equipped with all utensil's necessary for our stay. There is a comfortable Murphy bed with a large bathroom with shower. It has the comfort of a small apartment with a beautiful gas fireplace for colder nights, the room also has a flatscreen tv and a couch. We enjoyed the Nespresso coffee a lot. The AC worked great, manny amenities and hike trails include the Vortex by the Boyton Canyon also they provided a shuttle service to our room, to the pool, restaurants etc .. The restaurants on property were conveniently located and food was excellent. The resort has access to private hiking trails , SPA and meditation sites as well as the Vortex on the back of the property with guides . The heated pool and Hot Tub had a spectacular view, to the Rocks and we high recommend the Sunset Golden hours or late night stargazing there. A day side bar offers great food and drinks . We had a great stay and would like to thank all the Staff to make our anniversary so memorable and a special thank you to Emily who helped us with the reservation . Enchantment believes that their “copy & paste”responses to poor reviews diffuses the poor quality many experience at this “luxury” resort. What I experienced at Enchantment warranted a personal and sincere apology, not a canned response. This further illustrates this resort’s inability to provide the level of service that they claim to deliver. I am shocked at the price that I paid for a room that overlooked the parking lot and had a broken shower head that squirted to the sides and flooded the bathroom floor. The hotel was aware of the problem because the shower head had been torqued against the back side wall. It would have been nice if Enchantment had used the money that the previous guest had paid for that room to buy a new shower head. It was a very disappointing stay and inconsiderate since Enchantment is part of the Relais & Châteaux Luxury Hotels. In reality, Enchantment is far from par. Our meal at Tii Gavo was unimpressive and the waitperson was very unprofessional. Customer service training is definitely needed.

Went there for dinner. Amazing food!

We just went in for dinner, which was absolutely exquisite. The views are breathtaking. We did have an opportunity to tour a few of the rooms on property...amazing options!
