STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I GOT BED BUGS FROM THIS PLACE.

Theres a old man at front desk thats hatefully an rude to white people the owner how ever is amazing and handled it like a professional owner . Room need more lighting other then that perfect for long stays or just stopping in on ya way to were ever. 17 years I been stay here Clean safe an adorable 😍

The staff is very helpful and friendly. . The room was very clean. The only problem was , 2 handicap parking space were blocked by cones . I'm using a cane and it's hard for me to walk. Other than that there's no other problems.

I picked this hotel because if it's proximity to a Funeral I was attending on Friday 4/23 - 4/24/2026. The hotel is off the beaten path, the room, even tho' it's an older building, was very clean, plenty of towels, soaps and the most comfortable bed I've slept on, outside of my home. Nice sized fridge, small microwave, cold A/C, wonderful HOT water , no bugs & a decent pool downstairs if you want to swim. It was affordable as well. I would definitely recommend. It's conveniently located off of 41 in Hammond, IN.

Below are reviews about illegal activity on the property, and doors not locking. They play hard ball on refunds. This is a formal request for a full refund at Days Inn by Wyndham on Friday, April 17-19, 2026. The conditions of this property were unacceptable and did not meet reasonable standards for safety, compliance, or guest experience. Upon arrival around 8:30 PM, the hotel environment was immediately concerning. There was marijuana on the property, including common areas and guest floors, despite this being illegal in Indiana. Additionally, there were large groups congregating in the parking lot and hallways. Inside the hotel, numerous children were left unattended, running through the hallways, shouting, and accessing the pool area without supervision. This disruption continued until approximately 2:00 AM, making it impossible to rest. We were initially assigned a room on the second floor but requested relocation due to loud music and the marijuana odor. The second room we were given had a door that would not lock, which is a serious safety concern. Instead of moving us to a secure room, maintenance was sent to attempt a repair. When we contacted the front desk regarding quiet hours and enforcement of hotel policies, we were informed that there was no security on-site to manage disturbances. It was also clear that occupancy rules were not being enforced, as multiple rooms appeared to exceed capacity, with guests moving between rooms freely. Due to these conditions—including safety concerns, lack of policy enforcement, and ongoing disturbances—we were forced to leave the property early. We returned Saturday night hoping conditions would improve, but the situation had worsened. We checked out Saturday evening and requested a refund. We were directed by the hotel to contact Expedia, and Expedia directed us back to the hotel. A game of past the buck. This property does not meet acceptable standards and appears to be in violation of basic guest safety and experience expectations. I am requesting a full refund for this stay and ask that this property be reviewed for compliance with Expedia’s listing standards, including priceline, and tripadvisor. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter, and will be following up.

Truck parking a plus

The day we checked in the desk clerk was very nice , we left and got back about 5 they were having a birthday party, for a child , we were checked in on first floor , kids were running up and down the hallway until about 10:30 pm. , yelling and bumping into doors , no supervision and staff did not stop it , could not even sleep , then in morning and the breakfast bar kids were unsupervised again , they were playing games with cereals filling up bowels And throwing away , I think when under age children come down to eat they should be supervised by parents , finally a mom came down and took a plate from one of the children that put 10 slices of raisins bread and didn’t eat it , she said to us do you want this my kids got it and they didn’t eat it , no thank you god only knows what they didn’t eat with it . Sad

I really do not know why this hotel is a 2 star hotel it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in staff was nice my bed was made my room was cleaned up I spent two nights there had no problems. I have stayed in four star hotels and my card never worked this was the first time I got a key card that actually worked on the first time this is a great place to stay beds were great pillows were fluffy tons of shampoo everything you wanted they had it
