Ripcord sits on Fairview Street in the middle of Montrose and has been Houston’s leather bar for years. The room is dark and plain, and men from the leather, bear, and fetish scenes make up most of the crowd, but a pair of jeans works just fine. It opens at 2 pm on weekdays and noon on weekends, staying open until 2 am. Drinks are inexpensive.
