About this place Ripcord

Ripcord is Houston's long-standing leather bar, on Fairview Street in the middle of Montrose. The crowd is mostly men from the leather, bear and fetish scenes, and the room is dark and plain. Leather or denim fits in, but street clothes are fine on most nights. It opens at 2pm on weekdays and noon at weekends, closing at 2am, and drinks are cheap. Club nights and fundraisers for local leather groups come up regularly, so check their social pages if you want to catch one. Other Montrose bars are a short walk away.
