About this place Legacy Montrose Clinic (Legacy Community Health)

Legacy Community Health grew out of the Montrose Clinic, founded in the early 1980s at the height of the AIDS crisis, and remains a key provider of LGBTQ-affirming and HIV care in Houston. The Montrose clinic offers primary care, sexual-health services, PrEP and gender-affirming care. It's a practical resource for visitors who need clinical services while in the city.

Dental department is CRAP! You have to wait months to a year for a dental appointment. Then they cancel it with no explanation. Rarely return calls. Why even have this department? This has been like this for years and Legacy can't get their act together. The clinic is great; the dental is just plain poor.

This location has become badly run lately. I witnessed first hand racism against whites in the eligibility department today.my appointment was at 8.i was the first one checked in and sitting in the waiting room. As Hispanics came into the waiting they were immediately taken in.820 comes along I am still waiting and a hispanic man walks out of the elevator and before he could sit down he was called..needless to say at this time there were only hispanic people working in eligibility. Finally when their were no more Hispanics to call they called me in at 9.time to fire the eligibility crew and hire all new people
