Club Tempo is a gay Latino club on Santa Monica Boulevard at the East Hollywood end, a few kilometres east of the West Hollywood strip. The draw here is the music: banda, norteño, cumbia and reggaetón rather than pop remixes, and on many nights a crowd in boots and cowboy hats, which is where the clubtempocowboys web address comes from. It is a dance club first, so it fills late and on weekends. Programming such as drag and themed nights changes over time, and no hours are on file, so check the website or call before heading over. Expect a mostly Spanish-speaking local crowd.

Excellent gay vaquero bar. 2 floors with live cumbia bands and drag show on weekends. We had an amazing time. If beautuful men in tight jeans pressed shirts and sombreros are your thing, then this is a must!
