Cynthia is a professional and a delight to work with. She is thorough and very effective. I have been in dire need of finding someone who could on the task of organizing my closet after five years of stuffing everything in there and she did a wonderful job and has even followed up since with suggestions/additional thoughts as to how I can continue to make my closet a more managable room.

Cynthia was such a pleasure to work with and helped me accomplish so much in just five hours! We really cleared out my closets and dresser, and created a lot of space and better organization within those spaces. She was also very helpfully able to recommend a number of products after our session that could help different areas of my apartment. It’s especially wonderful that she doesn’t require any items to be bought beforehand but rather she carefully considers what you may need after the session and reaches out with a detailed follow up email with links to suggestions! Would highly recommend to anyone that needs to do some home organizing in NYC.

The Clutter Whisperer service was excellent! She taught me so much about how to declutter spaces that I use daily from those that I rarely use and can use for “back up.” So for example if I have two boxes of garbage bags I don’t need to squeeze those in the under the sink kitchen cabinet but instead on a shelf in a closet. This has created breathing room in my everyday life! She is also a kind and thoughtful individual who respects your wishes and preferences and finds solutions. I will bring her back in to continue to help.

Cynthia was wonderful, and I would recommend her to anyone needing a space refresh or help organizing, rearranging, or decluttering their space. Having a fresh set of eyes to reimagine where things might fit more effectively was exactly what I needed after being in my studio for 5 years. She encouraged me to purge some things I’d been holding onto unnecessarily, and was understanding of the things I was unwilling to get rid of. It felt very vulnerable to have a stranger come into my home to help with this, but Cynthia was exactly what I needed! We rearranged things, found new homes for others, and reprioritized items and furniture that had been lost to the clutter. I’m really grateful that I finally decided to have someone help me with this!

As a young adult/college student with adhd I’ve struggled staying organized in my tiny New York studio apartment. Cynthia spent a great while with me helping to tackle big organization tasks I’ve been dreading. She gave me organizing compartments to keep certain items in specific places which lessens my stress when it comes to finding what I need. Cynthia was incredible! We first had a phone consultation to assess my needs. Once she arrived, I gave her a quick tour of the problem areas in my apartment. After she saw everything, we decided to focus on my bedroom, which was overflowing with clothes. The 5 hours flew by, and every time I felt overwhelmed, Cynthia was there to calm my nerves and guide me through the process. Together, we filled 5 large garbage bags with clothing to donate to charity and another bag of items for a local animal shelter. Cynthia provided all the details I needed to schedule a pick-up from a local church and within a couple of days, everything was out of my apartment. I literally feel "lighter" and so happy with what we accomplished. Even though we concentrated on the bedroom, Cynthia also offered valuable advice and tips for my bathroom and closets. She also sent a lengthy follow up email with details and best practices for continuing my organizational journey which I really appreciated. I can’t wait to have her back to tackle other areas of my home that need help. I've been raving about her to all my friends—Cynthia gets an A+ recommendation from me!

Cynthia was incredible! I had her come for two 5-hour visits. One was for my bedroom (including 2 packed closets) and 2 entryway closets. The other visit was for the kitchen (and a little bit of a closet revisit). I would have never had the same result if I did this on my own. She had great ideas and tips and was lovely to spend time with. Also lots of resources about donating and who does pick up. I especially like that she didn't push buying storage items. She was great at using things I had around the house. (So save up some good shoe boxes, gift boxes, containers etc before she comes.) Her tips also helped me be inspired to declutter my kid's room and the bathroom. She offers a great service and I HIGHLY recommend her if you need a push and some help to do tasks like this.

My wife and I hired Cynthia to help organize our Manhattan 1 bedroom apartment. Cynthia is a kind, dedicated and hard working professional who gave us a lot of helpful tips and suggestions. After the session we got an email outline further suggestions and recommended items to acquire. She even took some no longer needed small electronics with her to recycle. We also got to meet her cute dog Zucker. Overall we can recommend Cynthia without any hesitation.

She (and her adorable service pup Zucker) spent 8 hours in my very messy, cluttered apartment, and the time just flew by. She approached the process with a non judgmental, supportive attitude. Her patience and attention to detail were remarkable. Cynthia customized the organization to meet my specific needs, making the space both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Thanks to her, I now have the start I needed to continue decluttering and organizing on my own. Cynthia is incredibly professional, thorough, and kind. She takes her work seriously and truly listens to the client's needs and concerns.
