Join us for an artist talk with Pittsburgh-born ceramic sculptor Sharif Bey, reflecting on his exhibition Sharif Bey: Homecoming. After more than twenty-five years, Bey returns to the city that shaped him. He&#8217;ll discuss what it means to come full circle as an artist, the inspiration behind his work, and community as a throughline in his practice — including the dialogue between ceramics and fine art, adornment and identity, and Pittsburgh&#8217;s creative ecosystem for the next generation.
