I love this bathhouse. I do have a membership - a yearly one. However I don’t go to it more than I wish to. The bathhouse itself is really beautiful and big and spacious. It’s clean and well taken care of. However there are things that deter me from going all the time. 1) the price - it’s quite pricey outside of the happy hour schedule. They should cut down the cost of entry to half and cut down the hours of stay - instead of 8 hrs, get it down to 4 hrs and cut the cost by half. A number of places I’ve gone to only cost 20$ for 4 hrs - enough time to find something or someone without getting too exhausted. 2) it would be hotter and more arousing if they made the cinema room quiet. Shut that club music down and instead play the movies with sound. That way you can at least play with people like you’re in an adult theater. Adult theaters are hotter to be in because it’s quiet. All you hear is moans and sex. No stupid club music. 3) this is not their fault: but the visitors can be most miss - for me anyway. Too many older people. They should have a day where 40 or below ONLY could go. Happy hour is usually attended by the same guys - the same local faces (who are mostly not my type). Still, Overall club san diego is a Great bathhouse. It deserves 5 stars for its amenities. It’s actually one of the best I’ve been to. But it can be very expensive and a huge waste of money if you aren’t having fun and the fish in the sea is not very tasty ( you know what i mean). I do recommend this bathhouse though.

I have never had any bad experience with the staff here. They are always nice and welcoming. Wonderful experience that's for sure. 🥵

BearUnion event on the webpage states price is 20dlls per locker. Once I arrived, they charged me 90dlls for me and my friend’s locker. Don’t trust pricing on the webpage.

I have known this club for many years. Over the decades, I have seen the changes that have taken place there. Currently, the club makes a nice and clean impression. Most staff are friendly. However, what has not changed in about 25 years is the availability of hot water for showers. A few years ago, the shower heads and faucets were quite defective. Currently, there is once again no hot water for showers for long periods of time, especially when you come out of the steam sauna sweaty. (12/19/25) The water was warm for 30 minutes after I arrived, then ice cold for the next 90 minutes. Despite pointing out the lack of hot water, nothing was done to get it flowing again. The owner really needs to work on this so that this facility is worthy of a 4 or 5-star rating.

This place is a cruiser's paradise! Clean facility, reasonable rates. Variety of amenities to satisfy most deviant appetites. Little too dark tho, hard to navigate at times.

Definitely something you should check out when in Hillcrest San Diego. Cool, friendly people all around

I usually don't write reviews unless I'm happy with a service, but unfortunately today October 17 at 7:35 pm I had a bad experience with a receptionist who takes payment and ID checks his name is Marcus, he is not friendly, racist and rude. At first he spoke to me in Spanish I answered him kindly I only speak English and French and he took my ID and he apparently judged me on nationality and color, After paying he threw my ID back at me like trash he is very rude, I hope his manager reviews his actions with him so he will treat other customers with more respect. La prochaine fois faut traiter les gens avec respect. Et je te conseille de refaire ton éducation de base, par ce que c'est mal éduqué

A divine place, I loved it! All the staff were very friendly and always attentive. Andres was very kind, kind, and helpful, although the rates are a bit high. The current economy isn't up to those prices; they should lower them, and perhaps there would be more people. The facilities are top-notch. I went early Saturday morning to stay until dawn on Sunday, and it was great. Lots of men to see, a fascinating place. I've been during the day, and it's dead. The happiest Saturday night is the place. I have nothing to say about it; it's fabulous and clean. Every time I go, I enjoy it. Thank you, Club SD, for existing.
