Metropolitan Community Church of Topeka

Metropolitan Community Church of Topeka is the local congregation of MCC, the denomination founded in 1968 for LGBTQ+ Christians. Its website describes the church as a safe space to be yourself within a community that cares. The church is at 4425 SW 19th Street in west Topeka. We could not confirm current service times, so check mcctopeka.org or call before visiting. In a city that is also home to Westboro Baptist Church, it is one of the few openly LGBTQ+ institutions with its own building.
