This is one of the best-run and enjoyable hotels I've ever stayed in (maybe THE best), and I've stayed in many for business and pleasure. The rooms and all spaces are super clean and very well maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and good. The location is perfect, about midway along the Virginia Beach walkway. Great views, great people, and more. I can't think of anywhere else I'd want to stay on Virginia Beach. It's an independent hotel, so they can do what they need to to please their guests without having to appeal to a corporate hierarchy.
Everything was perfect! William at the front desk was always so kind and helpful. We are very appreciative of everyone for making our entire experience spectacular.
I wanna start by saying William the manager is one of the best managers I have ever had staying with places for vacation the guy went to edge of the ocean for our stay and we thank you for that. The hotel couldn’t have been in a better location breakfast was great and fresh rooms clean and well maintained the parking garage may be a little small but just don’t drive any big trucks as to it won’t fit the clearance other wise it’s a 10/10 we will stay again. Hotel staff was extremely friendly. Complementary breakfast had a great selection and even had gluten free options if requested (frozen waffles, frozen pancakes, English muffins, toast- nothing fancy but for a gluten free 7 year old, she was ecstatic). Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and even did fun things with our kids stuffed animals. They were excited to come in everyday and see what their toys were doing. The only negative we had to say about the hotel in general was it is an older hotel and they did a "face-lift" but left many things unfinished. The lobby was beautiful. In the room there was unfinished wood, the paint job looked unfinished and the flooring/transitions looked cheap. The cosmetics didn't impede our stay by any means. By the pictures, we were just expecting the room to be a little nicer. Overall, we would definitely stay again and really enjoyed this hotel!
We have stayed here several times for all the same reasons: the spacious rooms, the cleanliness of all areas , the wonderful indoor pool and hot tub, the many choices available at breakfast, the location, but most of all the service. The staff is unbeatable! From friendly greetings to helpfulness, the staff here is top notch. We will definitely return again and again!
