Nagoya Rainbow Pride

Nagoya Rainbow Pride (名古屋レインボープライド) is the organization behind central Japan's largest LGBTQ+ Pride event, held each May in Sakae around the Oasis 21 complex. First staged in 2019 — succeeding the earlier Nijiiro Domanaka Parade (2012–2017) — the festival combines a parade through central Nagoya with stage performances and community booths at Oasis 21's Galaxy Plaza. The volunteer-run committee works year-round to raise LGBTQ+ visibility across the Tokai region.
